Over the years, I’ve had the chance to photograph a variety of portraits—from senior sessions and engagement shoots to casual lifestyle moments with friends and family. While it’s not a primary focus of my work, portrait photography has always been something I enjoy. It offers a change of pace from commercial and field shoots, giving me the chance to connect with people on a more personal level and capture genuine emotion. These sessions have helped me grow as a photographer, strengthening my eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling through simple, human moments.
Project highlight and takeaway
I’ve always enjoyed the simplicity of portrait work. It’s a chance to slow down, focus on the person in front of the camera, and capture something genuine.
